I learn the following from my Dad. In some countries, artificial news is created to spook the market, to get the weak investors to sell. Dad used to give me indicators to know when the ‘smart money’ is moving into the market or exiting the market. Dad said to watch the market carefully especially when people are desperate, and some have lost all they own, plus all they borrowed! Despite seeming callous, this is the best time to BUY. During the time when the share market is rising, and rumours are abound about how much money people are making, that is the time to SELL. When taxi drivers are parking their taxis and going inside Share Trading Halls to watch the share prices move on the electronic boards, instead of driving their taxis and plying their trade, that is when the smart money is exiting the market!”.
